Youth are a very life-giving part of both the present and the

futureof any community. Here at St. Joseph's we want to

provide a safe place for them and their friends to get to know

each other, have some fun, and grow spiritually as part of

our Catholic faith community. Our mission statement is

as follows:

"To acknowledge our young people as valued members of our parish community by providing fun and prayerful opportunities for them to grow spiritually and socially."

A group of both adult and youth volunteers try to accomplish this by coordinating and promoting events that respond to the interests of our youth while being conscious of the need to help them pray together and grow in awareness of the importance of reaching out to those in need. We continually invite the youth between the ages of 10 and 17 attending St. Joseph's Church and/or Elementary School (and their friends) to participate in various events. We try to compliment existing parish activities when we can and are fueled primarily by the enthusiasm of our youth and generous donations of both the time and financial assistance offered by our parishioners.
